Prunus cerasus 'Morel', commonly known as the Morello Cherry, is a deciduous fruiting tree highly regarded for its tart, dark red cherries. This variety is perfect for culinary uses such as baking, preserves, and making cherry liqueurs. The tree produces attractive white blossoms in spring, followed by the cherries in early to mid-summer. 'Morel' is self-fertile and can be grown as a bush, making it suitable for smaller gardens and orchards.
