Elodea Densa, also known as the waterweed, is a great oxygenating aquatic plant that is ideal for use in ponds, especially in Ireland. It is an attractive submerged plant with thin, bright green leaves that grow in dense clusters. While it doesn't produce any flowers, it serves an important role in the ecosystem by producing oxygen and providing shelter for aquatic animals. Elodea Densa is also very easy to care for and can thrive in a variety of water conditions. It can grow rapidly, making it an excellent plant for helping to control algae growth in your pond.
