Iberis sempervirens 'Appen Etz' is a compact evergreen perennial plant with deep green leaves and clusters of pure white flowers. This variety is particularly long-flowering, and the blooms can persist from late spring through to early summer. Iberis sempervirens is commonly known as candytuft and is native to southern Europe. It is a great choice for rock gardens or as an edging plant, and is often used as a ground cover due to its dense, low-growing habit. It is also drought tolerant and attracts bees and butterflies.
Why we like it:
- Clusters of pure white flowers create a beautiful contrast against the deep green foliage.
- Long-flowering period, providing a great source of nectar for bees and butterflies.
- Ideal for use as an edging plant or ground cover due to its dense growth habit.
