Carex elata 'Aurea', commonly known as Bowles' Golden Sedge or Golden Carex, is a grass-like perennial plant that is native to Europe and Asia. It has an upright habit and grows up to 75 cm in height, producing narrow leaves that are yellow-green in colour. It also produces inconspicuous green flowers in the summer.
