Leucojum aestivum 'Gravetye Giant', commonly known as summer snowflake, is a bulbous perennial that produces nodding white flowers with green tips in late spring or early summer. The flowers are bell-shaped and hang down from tall, slender stems. The plant has dark green, strap-like leaves that provide an attractive backdrop for the flowers. 'Gravetye Giant' is a popular cultivar that is slightly larger and more robust than the species, with flowers that are up to 2.5cm long.
