Tulbaghia violacea 'Silver Lace', commonly known as Society Garlic, is an evergreen perennial featuring narrow, silver-edged green leaves and delicate lilac-pink flowers. This attractive plant is loved for its fragrant blooms and its clumping, grass-like foliage that adds texture to garden borders or containers. Society Garlic is drought-tolerant and thrives in sunny, well-drained spots. The flowers appear from summer through autumn, adding a splash of colour and attracting pollinators. The plant’s leaves and flowers have a mild garlic fragrance, hence its common name.
