Caltha leptosepala, also known as the giant marsh marigold, is a stunning perennial plant that can add a splash of bright yellow to any Irish garden. This plant is native to North America and can grow up to 60cm in height. Its large, bright yellow flowers bloom in early spring and can last for several weeks, attracting bees and butterflies to your garden. Its leaves are also quite attractive, with a glossy, dark green color that can add texture to your landscape. While it prefers moist soils and can even grow in shallow water, it can also adapt to drier conditions as long as it receives sufficient water.
