Crocus tommasinianus, commonly known as the early or snow crocus, is one of the first flowers to bloom in late winter or early spring. Its delicate, pale purple to lilac flowers appear just as winter starts to fade, often pushing through snow or frosty ground. This crocus is perfect for naturalizing in lawns, rock gardens, or woodland areas, where it spreads easily and multiplies over time. 'Tommies', as they are affectionately known, are ideal for adding early color and supporting pollinators coming out of winter.
