Tulbaghia violacea 'Variegata', commonly known as variegated society garlic, is a charming perennial that features striking green and cream-striped foliage. This plant is valued not only for its attractive leaves but also for its fragrant, lilac-pink flowers that bloom profusely from late spring through summer. The flowers rise above the clump of variegated foliage on tall, slender stems, adding vertical interest to the garden. Both the leaves and flowers emit a mild garlic scent, which makes the plant deer-resistant. 'Variegata' is well-suited for borders, rock gardens, and containers, providing a long season of color and texture.
