Advice & Tips:
- Level fill a module tray with seed compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually pushing the seeds into the compost so they are 1cm deep. Place in a propagator at 15-20°C or cover tray with cling film & leave in a warm room.
- When shoots appear ventilate the propagator or remove the cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 10°C keeping moist.
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out 20cm apart when the risk of frost has passed. Water well until established.
- Remove spent flower heads by pinching off back to the main stem of the plant to prolong flowering.
