The Fish-Red Rainbow, a captivating aquatic species known for its vibrant colors and petite size, measures just 2 inches when fully grown. Originating from the tropical regions of Papua New Guinea, this stunning fish is a popular choice among aquarium enthusiasts.

Origin: The Fish-Red Rainbow is native to the pristine waters of Papua New Guinea.

Temperature: To ensure their optimal health and well-being, these fish thrive in a temperature range of 24-28°C (75-82°F).

Feeding: Their diet consists of a varied menu including high-quality flakes, pellets, and frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. Offering a diverse diet will keep them happy and healthy.

Water Quality: Maintaining a pH level of around 7.0 and a moderate water hardness is crucial for the Fish-Red Rainbow's well-being. Regular water changes and proper filtration are necessary to maintain pristine water conditions.

Ideal Aquarium Size: For a thriving community of Fish-Red Rainbows, a tank size of at least 60-80 liters (16-21 gallons) is recommended. Ensure the tank is well-equipped with hiding spots, live plants, and ample swimming space.

Lifespan: With proper care and attention, Fish-Red Rainbows can live up to 5-7 years, offering a long-lasting source of beauty in your aquarium.

Community Tank Compatibility: These fish are generally peaceful and can coexist with other non-aggressive species of similar size. However, it's best to avoid housing them with overly aggressive or territorial tank mates.

Breeding: To breed Fish-Red Rainbows, create a separate breeding tank with soft, slightly acidic water. Provide plenty of hiding spots and plants. The females will lay eggs, and the males will fertilize them. After hatching, feed the fry with specialized fry food or powdered flakes until they are large enough to consume regular food.

Please note: We don't ship live animals. You can order online and choose click and collect, and we will hold it for you.
