This low-maintenance plant is a favorite among gardeners for its ability to thrive in poor soils and its drought-resistant qualities. It forms a dense mat of purple-tinged leaves, which become more pronounced in color with increased sunlight exposure. In late summer to early autumn, Sedum Purpureum bursts into bloom with clusters of star-shaped flowers, attracting a variety of pollinators to the garden.
