The Oriental Fire-Bellied Toad (Bombina orientalis) is a striking amphibian native to the cool, moist forests and marshes of Korea, China, and parts of Russia. With vibrant green and black markings on its back and bright red and black on its belly, this toad is popular among amphibian enthusiasts for its unique appearance and active behavior. Origin: Originating from the East Asian regions of Korea, China, and parts of Russia, the Oriental Fire-Bellied Toad inhabits cool, moist environments such as forests and marshes.
Temperature: The ideal temperature for Oriental Fire-Bellied Toads ranges from 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit (18 to 24 degrees Celsius). Maintaining consistent temperature levels is crucial for their health and well-being.
Housing: Basic requirements for housing Oriental Fire-Bellied Toads include a spacious enclosure with a secure lid to prevent escapes. The enclosure should feature a substrate of damp soil or moss, along with hiding spots, live plants, and shallow water for soaking and swimming.
