One of the most majestic spring bloomers, the Fritillaria Imperialis 'Rubra', commonly known as the Crown Imperial or Red Crown Imperial, is an impressive plant with its tall stature and a crown of deep reddish-orange, bell-shaped flowers topped with a tuft of green foliage. The pendulous flowers are uniquely arranged in a circular manner, evoking the image of a regal crown. Native to the mountainous regions of Turkey, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, this Fritillaria species is a sure-fire way to make a bold statement in your garden.
