The Apple Laxton Superb is a classic English dessert apple, introduced in 1897 by the Laxton Brothers. Known for its sweet and slightly tart flavour, it produces crisp, greenish-yellow fruit with red streaks when ripe. This apple tree is partially self-fertile, It will give a higher crop if it has a pollination partner, such as a nearby apple tree of a different variety, to produce fruit. It is particularly well-suited to the Irish temperate climate and is appreciated for its reliable cropping and disease resistance.
