Allium 'Summer Drummer' is one of the tallest and most impressive of all Allium varieties. With its long, sturdy stems that can reach great heights, it towers over other plants, offering a magnificent display of star-shaped, lavender-purple flowers. These blooms gradually transition to silvery-white seed heads as summer progresses, providing prolonged visual interest. Accompanied by a pleasing, light fragrance and its characteristic drumstick shape, it's a favorite among gardeners looking for height and drama in their garden beds and borders.
