Often referred to as the Snake's Head Fritillary, Checkered Lily, or Guinea Hen Flower, Fritillaria Meleagris is a charismatic bulbous perennial that dazzles the eye with its unique, checkered bell-shaped flowers. Native to Europe, this spring bloomer is loved for its nodding flowers that come in purples and whites, often with a chessboard-like pattern. The delicate blooms swing gracefully on slender stems above narrow, linear foliage, making it a picturesque addition to any garden.
