Pieris japonica 'Mountain Fire' is an attractive evergreen shrub known for its brilliant red new growth and delicate white flowers. The fiery red foliage emerges in early spring, gradually maturing to a glossy green, providing a stunning contrast against the clusters of small, bell-shaped white flowers that appear in mid to late spring. This slow-growing shrub is perfect for adding year-round interest to gardens, borders, and containers. It thrives in well-drained, acidic soil and partial shade, making it an excellent choice for woodland gardens and shaded areas.
