Origin: Blue Cherry Shrimp are selectively bred from Neocaridina davidi shrimp and do not exist in the wild. They are the result of careful breeding to enhance their blue coloration.
Temperature: The ideal temperature range for Blue Cherry Shrimp is between 18°C to 24°C (64°F to 75°F).
Water Quality: They thrive in slightly acidic to neutral water conditions with a pH range of 6.5 to 7.5. Maintaining stable water parameters and good water quality is essential for their health.
Aquarium Size: Blue Cherry Shrimp are small and can thrive in nano aquariums of 10 liters or more. They are social and should be kept in groups for a more natural and active display.
Feeding: These shrimp are omnivorous and feed on a variety of foods. They graze on biofilm, algae, and detritus in the aquarium. Additionally, they can be supplemented with high-quality shrimp-specific pellets, blanched vegetables like spinach or zucchini, and occasional treats like brine shrimp or bloodworms.
Lifespan: With proper care, Blue Cherry Shrimp can live for about 1 to 2 years.
